    Planning and Support Tool for Empowering Approaches to SRHR Education with Young People

    This evidence and rights-based Planning and Support Tool helps organisations to identify how and what they can improve in order to have high quality HIV prevention and SRHR education programmes for young people in place. The fully revised second edition of this practical tool captures all up to date research findings and translated this evidence for practical use. The tool can be used to plan new interventions, but also to analyse existing interventions. The first edition of the tool is also available in French and Portuguese. more

  • Stories of Change from Malawi - Cartoons

    In April 2016, 27 health care workers and teachers who are part of the Healthy Young People project in Malawi, shared their stories of change. Most important lessons learnt are captured in this comic strip, illustrated by a Malawian strip cartoonist. Healthy Young People aimed at improving young people's uptake of youth friendly services in two areas in Malawi. more

    This brief provides practical guidelines for meaningful youth engagement for the use of programmers, policymakers, civil society and others who wish to work with young people in an inclusive and equitable way. Examples of how the 10 strategies can be applied, drawn from the Link Up project, are given in five areas of meaningful youth engagement in sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and HIV integration. These can be adapted and applied to any level of decision-making and programming. An accountability scorecard belongs to the tool (see side bar). Tool and scorecard are also available in French. more
